Hi! We are Tee & Chels - husband & wife dream team!
Our SYNT journey started 10 years ago - we had finished up at our cafe jobs & travelled overseas for a 2 month European holiday! When we arrived home, we decided it was time to start up our own thing! Being able to design our own menus & help create lasting memories through our food was a dream come true, plus we loved that we had the opportunity to work together while also working a job that incorporated traveling across QLD & Northern NSW!
Our cheeky name may not be quite what you are thinking & actually stems from when we were living at home with family. Our designated nights to cook the family meal fell on a Thursday. Everyone loved the dishes we created & would always look forward to Thursday night family meals - ending each meal with a - See You Next Thursday! Not Tuesday if you were thinking otherwise haha! From there See You Next Thursday was born!
We began offering a MKR style dining experience where we would cater intimate dinner parties in your own homes. A client asked us to cater their event serving canapes only & once we delved into that style of catering we fell in love with it! Being able to serve beautiful mouth watering morsels that were a feast for the eyes & the tastebuds was right up our alley! We fell into our niche of canape and grazing catering & have not looked back since!
Over the years we have catered for all sorts of events from birthday parties, engagement parties, Weddings, festivals, movie sets, Christmas parties, corporate events
& everything else in between! We love the places we get to see & people we get to meet through catering for your events & feel honoured that you
choose us to be a part of your life events!
10 years on, the SYNT family has grown & so has our own little family!
We now have 2 food trucks, a mobile bar, a handful of incredible staff, many repeat clients & of course 2 beautiful little ones running around at home!
You will get to know Chels from your first point of contact - she will be the one making sure all the details are organised & will help to make the whole booking process as seamless as possible! Tee is the one in the kitchen (or food truck!) whipping up all the epic eats that will have you wondering what kind of magic ingredients he has used! He will be the face you will see at all your events along with our wonderful SYNT staff members!
